Dorrego Square

It is officially "National Historical Place", since the 9 of Julio 1816 a great multitude met in this same place to confirm the Independence, declared officially in Tucumán. At the moment it works there, every Sunday of 10 to 17 hs., the famous "Fair of Antiques of San Telmo" in which are exhibited and sell a great variety of old and typical objects of the city and domestic (for example, vitrolas, porcelain glasses, silver teaspoons, clothes and old photographic cameras). Musicians, singers and tango dancers usually act also, creating an amusing and "very Buenos Aires" air.
